About This Map
A blank India outline map for marking the 42 facilities that make up India's civilian nuclear fuel cycle outside of the power reactors themselves — from uranium mining in Jharkhand's Singhbhum belt, through enrichment, fuel fabrication and reprocessing, to the six DAE research centres and the rare-earth/thorium plants run by Indian Rare Earths Ltd. Jharkhand alone accounts for seven of the ten uranium mines on the map, making the Singhbhum belt the single most important cluster to learn first.
All 42 fuel-cycle facilities on the Uranium Facilities map, grouped by legend category

Tips And Tricks
- This map is the 'everything else' of India's nuclear programme — every facility here supports the reactors on the Nuclear Establishments map without generating electricity itself. Cross-reference the two maps rather than learning them in isolation.
- BARC (Trombay) is the single densest point on the map — it alone hosts four of the six research reactors, plus the Plutonium Reprocessing Plant and a Waste Immobilisation Plant.
